Native to Nashville, Daniel Donato grew up under the influence of traditional country music. Cutting his teeth on the Lower Broadway strip, he began busking at the age of 14. Playing the music of the greats such as Hank Williams Sr. and Waylon Jennings, Daniel developed a guitar style unlike any found today. It is a time capsule of reverb-drenched tones blanketed with a virtuous skill gained through blood and sweat.
Daniel is now one of the most respected guitarists in Nashville. He has played countless live shows with major acts, released his own instructional books and DVDs, and is an in demand recording musician. Daniel played in the famed local Nashville band The Don Kelley Band for several years at Robert’s Western World. The band draws fans from all over the world and plays four nights a week, year round.
