On February 9th, 1964, 4 young guys from Liverpool walked out onto the stage at the Ed Sullivan Show as 73 million eager people watched from their living rooms. Those 4 guys, better known as The Beatles, changed the world forever that night. Because of that performance, music took a wild turn in America, which eventually led to rock n’ roll, and the rest is history! One of those 73 million people watching that night was 10 year old Jerry Sims. He knew from that moment that he wanted to be a guitar player, as did many other people around the country. After getting his first guitar and quickly learning that he wanted to make it his career, Jerry began studying and playing guitar with the eventual goal of opening a guitar shop.
It was very humble beginnings at first, with just a few guitars and some strings on the wall of his small shop but with the help of his hard work and his vision, Sims Music now is home to over 500 amazing electric guitars. In 1964 there weren’t too many options out there for aspiring and professional musicians but the times have changed and the options are endless. At Sims, we may attempt to have as many of those options as we can for our customers to enjoy and hopefully find ‘the one’ while looking to buy electric guitars online. On top of having a wide selection of electric guitars we pride ourselves on making sure that they all play and sound great! Every single guitar you will see at Sims Music or on simsmusic.com has been professionally inspected and setup to guarantee that your next guitar will play and feel great for many years ahead. We hope you enjoy looking through our selection of quality electric guitars for sale and please feel free to reach out if you are in search of something else out there. We’d love to help!
