This case is padded so well that it could almost be considered a softer hardshell case. The signature bag that is included with all Martin acoustic models boasts a gold embroidery over a dark heather grey exterior. The interior  and contoured neck rest (made of a soft foam) is lined with a watery looking blue velvet-like material. This case also has a great big pocket on the front to transport a good amount of additional accessories you may need to carry with your instrument.
