Most repairs typically range from 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the amp’s condition and the nature of the repair

We use only high-quality, trusted components to ensure long-term performance and tone integrity.

Transformers: Mercury Magnetics upgrades and replacements

Capacitors: SoZo Vintage, F&T, LCR, Hayseed Hamfest, Sprague Atom, Orange Drop, Mallory 150, and silver-mica pF values

Sockets & Jacks: Ceramic or Belton Micralex sockets; Switchcraft, Neutrik, and Cliff jacks

Resistors: Vintage NOS carbon composite (when available), Xicon carbon comp and carbon film

Pots: CTS, Precision, Weber

Wiring: Vintage cloth-covered or Teflon-coated wire, shielded where necessary for noise reduction and authenticity
Warranty
All amplifier repairs completed through Sims Music include a 90-day parts and labor warranty.
If an issue arises within that period, simply bring your amp and repair receipt back to Sims Music, and we’ll take care of it.
