Electric

On February 9th, 1964, the world witnessed a moment that would change the course of music forever. Four young musicians from Liverpool, known as The Beatles, took the stage at the Ed Sullivan Show while an astonishing 73 million people eagerly watched from their living rooms. This iconic performance marked a turning point in American music, paving the way for the rise of rock 'n' roll and shaping the history of the industry. Among those captivated by that momentous night was a 10-year-old boy named Jerry Sims. Inspired by The Beatles, he knew from that instant that he wanted to become a guitarist, a dream shared by countless others across the nation. Jerry acquired his first guitar and quickly realized that he wanted to pursue a career centered around his passion. With a vision in mind, he embarked on a journey of studying and playing guitar, with the ultimate goal of opening his own guitar shop.

The beginnings of Sims Music were humble, with just a small shop adorned with a few guitars and strings on the wall. However, fueled by Jerry's dedication and determination, the shop has since grown into a haven for guitar enthusiasts, boasting an impressive collection of over 750 exceptional electric guitars. In 1964, aspiring and professional musicians had limited options, but times have changed, and today the possibilities are endless. At Sims Music, we strive to provide our customers with a wide array of options to explore and enjoy when they are looking to buy electric guitars online.
