Fender Vintera III Has Arrived!

Fender Vintera III Has Arrived!

The new Fender Vintera III series is officially here—and this is one of the most exciting vintage-inspired releases we’ve seen in a long time.

At Sims Music, we’re always chasing that balance between feel, tone, and inspiration. The Vintera III lineup absolutely nails it. These guitars and basses aren’t just “inspired by” the past—they’re carefully built to recreate it.

From the late ‘50s snap and twang to the chime and clarity of the ‘60s and the bold personality of the ‘70s, this series captures what made Fender legendary in the first place.

What Is Vintera III?

The Vintera III series is Fender’s latest evolution of vintage-style instruments—meticulously crafted recreations of iconic models from the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s.

This isn’t just about looks. Every detail is intentional:

  • Era-correct neck shapes (soft V, C, D profiles depending on the model)
  • 7.25" radius fingerboards for true vintage feel
  • Vintage-style pickups, spec’d to match specific years
  • Period-correct hardware, bridges, and tuning machines
  • Classic finishes that define each era

These guitars feel like something you’ve been playing for years the second you pick them up.

Built Around the Eras That Defined Fender

One of the coolest things about Vintera III is how clearly each model represents a specific moment in Fender history.

Late ‘50s Models

Think snap, twang, and raw clarity.

  • Telecasters with that unmistakable bite
  • Stratocasters with bright, singing top end
  • Chunkier neck profiles like soft V or D shapes
  • Classic finishes like Butterscotch Blonde and Aztec Gold

This is where it all started.

Early to Mid ‘60s Models

Arguably the golden era.

  • Warmer, rounder tones with more balance
  • Rosewood fingerboards become more prominent
  • Comfortable “C”-shaped necks
  • That perfect mix of clarity and fullness

This is the sound of countless recordings you already love.

Late ‘60s & Early ‘70s Models

More attitude. More presence. A little more edge.

  • Bigger headstocks
  • Punchier pickups
  • Bolder aesthetics
  • Block inlays and binding on basses

This era brought a different kind of personality—and it’s all here.

Why We’re Excited About This Series

We’ve always loved vintage Fender guitars—but let’s be honest, not everyone wants to deal with vintage pricing or inconsistencies.

Vintera III hits that sweet spot:

  • Authentic vintage tone and feel
  • Modern reliability
  • Consistency from guitar to guitar
  • Accessible pricing compared to true vintage

These are the kinds of guitars you can gig, record, and live with every day—without compromise.
