On April 14th, we’re turning Sims Music into a full-on acoustic experience with the Taylor Tone Show, happening alongside our Search for the Coolest Acoustic Guitar in Columbia event.

This isn’t just a demo—it’s a hands-on, tone-tasting experience led by a Taylor factory expert, giving you a chance to hear and feel the latest evolution of Taylor acoustic guitars.

You’ll get up close with Taylor’s newest lineup, including the richer, more responsive Next Generation models from the Standard and Builder’s Edition collections, now featuring the new Claria pickup system. The event also highlights the warm, full-bodied sound of the new Gold Label Collection, along with a look back at Bob Taylor’s classic X-braced designs in the Legacy Collection.

Throughout the event, you’ll be able to compare fan-favorite models, demo newly released guitars, and experience firsthand how Taylor continues to push acoustic tone forward. There will be free giveaways while supplies last—including D’Addario XS strings and other swag—and plenty of opportunities to sit down and play these instruments yourself after the presentation.

The Tone Show runs earlier in the day, but it all builds into the main event that night—our Coolest Acoustic Guitar contest at 6pm. Come for the tone, stay for the community, and experience one of the most exciting acoustic events we’ve hosted.
