The Search for the Coolest Acoustic Guitar in Columbia!
After the huge success of our Coolest Electric Guitar in Columbia event back in 2023, we’re bringing it back — this time with a brand-new twist inside our newly built acoustic guitar room at Sims Music.
We’re inviting guitar players from all over the Midlands to submit what they believe is the coolest acoustic guitar in Columbia. Whether it’s a vintage classic, a custom build, a rare find, or simply a guitar with an incredible story — this is your chance to show it off.
How It Works
• Customers may submit one acoustic guitar per person using our online entry form
• Selected guitars will be displayed in-store during the event
• Attendees will vote on which guitar they think is the coolest
• Winners will receive prizes
To help us prepare the displays, guitars must be submitted online first and then dropped off at the store the week prior to the event.
A Special Night for Guitar Lovers
We’re excited to welcome brand representatives from Gibson, Martin, and Taylor — with some bringing along special guitars you won’t normally get to see in-store.
Plus, we’ll have:
• Free food
• Free beer
• Tons of incredible acoustic guitars
• A great night with the local music community
