The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom F-5G Mandolin brings one of the most iconic mandolin designs within reach of more players. Created in collaboration with the Gibson Custom Shop, the F-5G features all-solid wood construction with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid figured maple back and sides for a balanced, deep, resonant tone with excellent projection. A figured maple neck with a comfortable C profile is paired with an ebony fingerboard, while the classic F-style scroll, ornate mother-of-pearl headstock inlays, and rich Cremona Sunburst finish give it the unmistakable appearance of a traditional F-5. A vintage-style rectangular hardshell case is included.
