The Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s is one of those guitars that never goes out of style, and at Sims Music, we're always excited to have these classics on our wall. Inspired by the early 1960s Les Paul models, this guitar brings together the legendary sound, feel, and craftsmanship that have made the Les Paul a favorite among guitarists for generations. The non-weight-relieved mahogany body and beautiful AA figured maple top deliver the warmth, sustain, and punch that players expect from a great Les Paul, while the SlimTaper mahogany neck offers a faster, more comfortable feel than the chunkier neck profiles found on many 50s-style models. It's a fantastic choice for players who want that unmistakable Gibson tone with a slightly more modern playing experience.

The Les Paul Standard 60s is loaded with a pair of 60s Burstbucker pickups featuring Alnico 5 magnets, delivering everything from warm, expressive cleans to the powerful, biting tones that have defined countless rock recordings. Hand-wired controls with Orange Drop capacitors give you plenty of flexibility to shape your sound, while the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and Grover Rotomatic tuners provide classic looks and dependable performance. Finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and complete with a hardshell case, this is a guitar built to be played and enjoyed for years to come. Like every new guitar at Sims Music, it receives a complete professional setup from our team before shipping, so it's ready to play when it arrives.
