The PRS S2 McCarty 594 in Dark Cherry Sunburst brings together vintage-inspired tone, classic styling, and the exceptional playability that has made PRS guitars so popular. At Sims Music, we're big fans of the McCarty lineup, and the S2 McCarty 594 offers a fantastic combination of traditional guitar design and modern craftsmanship. Named in honor of legendary guitar designer Ted McCarty, this model features a mahogany body with a maple top, a comfortable Pattern Vintage neck profile, and a 24.594-inch scale length that gives the guitar a slightly slinkier feel. The beautiful Dark Cherry Sunburst finish highlights the maple top and gives this guitar a timeless look that fits right in with its vintage-inspired personality.

The McCarty 594 is designed to deliver the warmth, clarity, and dynamic response of a great vintage electric guitar while offering the versatility today's players appreciate. Its dual humbuckers provide everything from rich, smooth cleans to thick, expressive overdriven tones, while individual volume and push/pull tone controls allow for additional single-coil-inspired sounds. The two-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners complete a design that feels familiar, dependable, and incredibly musical. Whether you're playing blues, classic rock, or something more modern, the S2 McCarty 594 is a guitar that can cover a lot of ground. Like every new guitar at Sims Music, it receives a complete professional setup from our team before shipping, so it's ready to play when it arrives.
