The PRS SE Silver Sky Defender Limited Edition brings a fresh visual identity to the popular SE Silver Sky, pairing its familiar feel, response, and playability with four contemporary colors inspired by the Land Rover Defender. Created through a collaboration between PRS, John Mayer, and Defender, this limited-edition collection draws inspiration from the modern Defender palette while keeping the player-focused design that has made the SE Silver Sky a favorite.
The collection is available in Petra Copper, Sedona Red, Carpathian Grey, and Woolstone Green. Each finish is paired with a black pickguard—a first for the Silver Sky model—giving these guitars a distinctive look unlike any previous SE Silver Sky. A custom neck plate unique to the Defender collection and a special custom gig bag complete the package.
Underneath the exclusive colors and appointments is the SE Silver Sky players already know, designed to deliver the sound, feel, and response inspired by John Mayer’s favorite vintage instruments with the consistency and playability of PRS construction. Unlike the Core Silver Sky Defender models, which are limited to 500 guitars per color.
