The Remo 22" Bass Drum Muffling System provides a flexible way to control unwanted resonance and fine-tune the response of your kick drum without interfering with tuning or full drumhead vibration. Designed in conjunction with legendary drummer Dave Weckl, the system uses a tube-shaped muffling pillow held securely in place by adjustable clamp holders, keeping the dampening independent of the drumhead itself. This allows drummers to dial in a tighter, more controlled bass drum sound while still experimenting with different Remo batter and resonant head combinations. It’s a clean, adjustable alternative to simply placing a loose pillow or blanket inside the drum.
