Select-Grade: A New Take on Hawaiian Koa

Both the 724ce and 722ce boast visually beautiful select-grade Hawaiian koa, which yields an energetic voice that can take command in any musical situation. The Builder’s Edition 717 features solid Indian rosewood paired with torrefied Sitka spruce for a seasoned sweetness.

Tone-Enhancing Design Elements

All guitars in the 700 Series (except the JMSM) are built on our V-Class bracing, which generates more power, longer sustain and a more harmonic relationship between notes. Players will also notice the slender Taylor neck, which encourages stylistic experimentation.

Expression System 2 Acoustic Pickup

With the ES2 acoustic preamp and pickup on board every guitar, you'll be ready to plug in and play with authentic, clean amplified tone in any scenario that calls for it.

Organic Aesthetic Appointments

Standard (non-Builder’s Edition) Koa models sport rosewood binding, a single-ring rosette in rosewood and paua, mother-of-pearl inlays in our new Fountain design, polished bronze tuners, ultra-thin matte finish and a dark-stained maple pickguard.

Variety in Sound, Style and Feel

Two all-Hawaiian-koa models serve up a distinctively vibrant voice compared to the refined, smooth attack of the Koa Series. The Builder’s Edition 717e serves up a traditional rosewood experience with our Grand Pacific dreadnought body shape.

Hardshell Case Included with Every Guitar

Every guitar in the 700 Series ships with a deluxe hardshell case for reliable protection and safe transport, from smaller Grand Concert guitars to the larger Grand Auditorium and Grand Pacific models.
