Fender Hand-Wired Amps

For an amazing do all amp, pick up the '65 reissue DR and you will have no regrets. The '64 Custom Deluxe Reverb is a 20-watt all hand-wired tube amp that sings with any guitar. I've played teles, Les Pauls, 335s and strat through it, all with amazing results. The more I turn it up, the more it sings and plays along with me. With the knobs all at noon, the sound is seemingly bright but can be tailored to fit any guitar. The natural sound of the amp cuts through a mix like a knife. The reverb on this guy can be turned up obnoxiously high and still maintain a lush presence without sounding like trash.

Another great option is the '62 Princeton. It is the Chris Stapleton signature amp and comes with a killer cover. 12 watts and tremolo are all I want with this amp. Just put everything on 7 and let it do its thing. I guarantee you will plug into this amp and it will blow your mind! The Brownface amps have such a unique roundness in the mids that is unmistakable and punchy and really just feels good when it's moving some air. These Princetons stay pretty clean but will start to break up with a pedal.
