Returning the Jumbo body shape to the Taylor lineup, this model is tailor-made for the expansive, shimmering voice of a 12-string acoustic. Crafted with solid Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top, the 855e delivers a powerful yet balanced tone, full of warmth, clarity, and sparkling octave shimmer. Traditional X-bracing enhances the dynamic range and touch sensitivity, while the large body ensures volume and presence without compromising nuance.

The Legacy 855e offers the smooth, modern Taylor neck for comfortable playability and features nods to Bob Taylor’s early builds, including a rosewood veneer straight-ear peghead, mustache-style bridge, and understated aesthetic appointments like white binding and a green abalone rosette. The guitar also comes equipped with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and a commemorative Legacy interior label, making it equally suited for the stage or studio. A deluxe hardshell case is included.
